Vertigo is a personal series depicting the effects of anxiety and psychoactive medicine. A snake is evoked as a dubious entity between evil and good. On the one hand embodying anxiety crawling within the body, and on the other hand the symbol of healing and medicine – as depicted in the Rod of Asclepius, the Greek god of healing – widespread symbol in pharmacy signage and medical aid kits.
